Notes:
Setlist comparisons are to the last fully documented show in Melbourne on October 17th.
Bon Jovi played on the athletic track of the stadium instead of the main field like in 1990. Even though they only calculated with a maximum of 10,000 to 12, 000 fans, on concert day only 5,000 showed up. Michael Jackson had been playing in the city two weeks prior and the costs of concert tickets had many people decide to opt for that since Bon Jovi had been there three years prior.
Blood Money and Dry County are dropped
Living In Sin, Blood On Blood, In These Arms, Working Class Man and Never Say Godobye are dropped from the
encore.
With the lower audience capacity, sound engineers hastened to get the sound working and Jon appeared to be pissed as well. After Bed Of Roses, it was even Richie who thanked the crowd.
According to concert attendees, Alec’s bass sound was off (and not working during Blaze Of Glory at all), as was Alec, Jon was overall apathic and it must’ve been Richie who “saved” the night with his monstrous playing. But even with that, they almost didn’t bring his electric guitar in time for the change in Wanted Dead Or Alive which lead to him yelling to his techs for the rest of the song.
Some recordings from that night (not mine):
