Notes:
Around this time, the Westfalenhalle was known as one of THE indoor venues to play at in Europe due to its good sound and usually enthusiastic party crowd.
This one was no exception and the band and crowd fed off each other’s energy and made this one a performance to remember.
Jon let the crowd sing the first verse of Blaze Of Glory.
Runaway apparently had been taken off the setlist, but Jon spontaneously put it back on.
Travellin’ Band is dropped and In These Arms and I’d Die For You are added to the second encore.
Never Say Goodbye moves up to the second encore block. Jon pulled out an enthusiastic and drunk fan from the crowd to sing the song together. And while the whole thing had some slapstick feel to it, he actually remembered the words and everyone just seemed to have a lot of fun.
After the song, Jon asked the crowd if the guy had put him out of work. When they replied with a big “no”, he joked “he can open up for us on the next tour!”
With A Little Help From My Friends is added as the final encore.
