Notes:
-
The band’s final German show of the tour and, as they were known for between 1993 and 2013, fans could be assured they were to be in for a treat.
-
For two decades, a setlist “from memory” has been around for this show and while it certainly got a few key points correct, it was not spot on. Recently, a
dedicated fan dug out the original setlist she had collected at the concert and gave it to us. Thank you!
-
Since the cover songs aren’t printed on the setlist but more or less made up on the spot, they won’t be included here. Still it’s likely to assume that a few
were done that night in their usual spots.
-
Runaway moves up and All I Want Is Everything is dropped.
-
Lie To Me moves up a few slots as well and is delivered in its original version again!
-
These Days in the middle of the main set! This was done on the spot!
-
Damned is added to the main set as well.
-
Never Say Goodbye in the acoustic set! It was played upon fan requests and replaces Lie To Me. Originally, I’d Die For You had been planned in that spot.
-
Keep The Faith and I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead switch places at the end of the main set.
-
The “These Days triplet” encore returns and My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms takes the “planned spot” of These Days.
-
Rockin’ In The Free World, Drift Away and Blood Money are added to the various encores.
-
Stranger In This Town is dropped.
-
Bon Jovi were obviously thankful for their incredible success in Germany. They had played no less than 32 shows here between 1993 and 1996!
-
Since they knew that they were going to take a break of unknown length after the tour, the band returned for a fourth encore and played (It's Hard) Hard Letting
You Go! The song had originally been set to open the encore, so it seems the band went with the crowd’s emotions and saved it for the great finale! This gave goosebumps to everyone
attending!
No recording from that night could be found.
