- Bon Jovi received the Award of Merit during the American Music Awards.
- This is the very first live performance of Have A Nice Day. Although they only played the first verse and the chorus the lyrics are a little different to the final album version which got released about 10 months later. Only a month prior to this show Jon said in an interview for their fanclub that the new song of the upcoming (yet untitled) album will be Have A Nice Day. That they play parts of it during the AMAs was a big surprise.
